A Penny for Your Thoughts

Dear friends,

I’m writing to share with you that I find of lot of joy in sharing little pieces of our humble place in this world, as well as supporting small shops whose keepers have become such good friends. I write here both as an exercise for myself, and in hopes that it will find the hearts it was meant for and bring something of value to you.

Alas, there is a great deal of silence in this space and it has me pondering a few things. First, I’d hate to add to the noise and over abundance of internet content being hurled from every angle. Maybe what I’m sharing doesn’t interest you, or maybe it did at one point and your hoping to see something else on here again?

Or maybe you are a silent connoisseur and you never leave comments but you do genuinely enjoy the content. I understand fully, because this has been me—only recently have I realized the value of letting the creator know that their work has been enjoyed and appreciated. Even if it feels like it doesn’t matter, I know it does to me, so I imagine that it might for others as well.

Whatever the case, I’d be truly grateful for just a bit of feedback so that I can determine whether or not to continue pouring out my time and heart in this capacity.

If I knew that it blessed even a small handful of you, I’d consider it worth my while. That is why your feedback will be so invaluable to me. Honestly, if there’s just too much noise or you simply aren’t interested any longer, I won’t be hurt or offended. I myself find there to be so many inspiring and talented hearts out there sharing beautiful things but I simply don’t have the time or ability to consume it all. I have one journal that I love to read every entry of (which happens to written by a dear friend), but otherwise I give very little of my time to the screen these days. I wouldn’t blame you if you found yourself being pulled away just the same.

That being said, if you feel so inclined to give just a moment of your time, you can click the button below and leave your sentiments in the form. It would mean a great deal to me to understand how and if I should continue sharing in this manner.

In closing, because I can never really help myself when it comes to sharing pictures, I hope you’ll enjoy a few recent memories from our garden.

With gratitude,

Candice
